I am Dave Vest and am enthusiastically serving as Northwest Area Director of Strategic Advancement.

My journey with Wycliffe Associates began in 2013 when my wife, Peggy, and I attended a banquet to learn more about this Bible Translation organization. Upon hearing the vision, mission, and plan to provide translation services to people groups without the Word of God in their mother tongue, we were hooked and joined as Support Partners! We were excited to hear about over 532 successful Bible translation projects completed through Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation (MAST). And with Symbolic Universal Notation (SUN), the blind and deaf can have access to Translation services without language being a barrier!

Why am I now part of Wycliffe Associates? Recently I learned that in the United States there are over 150 people groups identified as needing Bible translations into their mother tongue. For me, this was the moment that I chose to serve with my gifts and talents.

I live my life believing, “if I am not dead, God is not done”.
