Throughout his career in Christian ministry and during short-term missions to indigenous people groups internationally, Jack has experienced first-hand the need for new language groups to have God's Word in their own language for true understanding. Prior to joining Wycliffe Associates, Jack served as a church Missions Pastor, as well as in missions Development and Director roles for over fifteen years.
In 2019, after moving to Florida, he answered God's call to become closely involved in the work of Bible translation and after a trip to Myanmar working with several language groups he knew immediately that God was calling him to continue this work full time. Jack now serves as Regional Director for Wycliffe Associates in North America, overseeing operations in the U.S. and Canada. Together with his wife Tammy, they have a shared love for missions and desire to bring the light of God’s word to our world.
In the U.S. and Canada there are still over 180 language groups that have no Scripture or only portions of it in their language! Jack looks forward to closing this gap, so these people can fulfill their desire to read and truly understand the Word of God that brings life, hope, healing and salvation in their own language.
