Robert and Cathy Timm

Since 2015, Bob and Cathy have been involved in the mission to support accelerated Bible translation around the globe. After serving together in an administrative role for the Bible Translation Association of Papua New Guinea, they returned home to Denver where they continue to serve with WA. They’ve been involved in training and teaching people how to use the recording equipment to translate the Word in people’s heart language in several countries. Currently, Bob has taken on the role as Director of Gateway Language development in the Eurasia region while also serving with a part of their organization in Indonesia. The organization is committed to creating versions of the Bible that are free of copywrite rules so that all people groups, regardless of size, can access a Bible that can be used, without cost, for their own translation work. It’s been a blessing and a humbling experience to be part of the Great Commission.
