Mark and Betsy Foster

The Fosters have served as supported staff with Wycliffe Associates supporting Bible translation for over 25 years. They lived in Papua New Guinea for eight years where Mark served as Program Manager for PNG, and Manila, Philippines where Mark served as Asia Area Director.

Mark is currently serving as the Assistant Director for Global Networks for a team that seeks out church networks to help facilitate Church Owned Bible translation. Participants are taught how to do written and oral Bible translation using MAST techniques. The MAST Bible translation process puts the responsibility for Bible translation in the hands of the people who speak the language and desire a translation in their heart language.
