Aaron and Cristiana Brakefield

I am blessed to serve as the Director of Translation Services for Wycliffe Associates. In this role, I provide leadership and support to regional and program directors who oversee hundreds of Bible translation projects across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Eurasia, the Pacific, and South Asia, along with several specialized ministry initiatives.
My work focuses on equipping and guiding international leaders as they partner with local churches and translation teams. I help establish ministry priorities, provide financial and operational oversight, address challenges, coordinate resources, and support projects through every stage of the translation process, from initial planning and translation to refinement, publication, and dedication.
I also travel regularly to meet with church leaders, translation teams, and ministry partners, observe the work firsthand, and help ensure that projects are progressing toward accurate, clear, and accessible translations of Scripture.
At the heart of my ministry is a desire to strengthen local churches and help people around the world receive God’s Word in the language they understand best. Through the prayers and generosity of ministry partners, I am able to serve the leaders and teams working to make the Bible available to communities that still do not have meaningful access to Scripture.
